As President of Aristotle.net, Elizabeth Bowles is responsible for the company's direction and vision. Since 2003 her leadership has enabled the company to expand its service area to cover all 50 states, and its dial-up subscriber base has more than doubled. Aristotle's commitment to providing the highest quality of Internet technologies and customer service combined with Elizabeth's strong anti-spam stance have made Aristotle a nationally recognized leader in the fight against spam. Spam Advocacy
Elizabeth was actively involved in the creation of Aristotle's server level Spam and Virus filtering system. Aristotle's dual filters block up to 99.9% of all spam directed at Aristotle's mail servers. Recognized for her legal expertise on spam related issues, Elizabeth speaks before audiences as varied as the American Bar Association, television audiences, and community organizations. Elizabeth continues her efforts to see consumer protections strengthened with effective enforceable spam legislation. She serves on the American Bar Association Cyberspace Law Committee and currently chairs the Spam Sub-committee, addressing issues of spam domestically and internationally. Elizabeth has been actively involved in the development of national spam legislation, writing a spam white paper for the FTC prior to the conception of the Can Spam act and consulting with the FTC and other major ISP's regarding implementation of the Act. Her current comments on the Spam Registry Law are on file with the FTC.

Legal Background
Elizabeth earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1993. She was awarded the Founder's Metal and graduated Order of Coif. Immediately following law school, Elizabeth clerked for Richard S. Arnold, then Chief Justice of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Following her judicial clerkship, she accepted a position with the Washington, D.C. law firm Arnold & Porter, where she practiced law in the fields of intellectual property and commercial litigation with an emphasis on international and technology law. Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C. and Arkansas, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. Elizabeth remains active with the Arkansas and American Bar Associations working on committees, serving as a continuing legal education instructor, and frequently appearing as a guest speaker.
