Then we want to talk to you. Our client base is growing every day, and we want to do even more with Drupal. We are looking to supplement our Open Source development team with a Drupal developer. We are interested in both freelance and full-time developers.

The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills to install, configure and develop Drupal-based websites in a high-availability environment.
Ideally, the candidate’s experience will include a familiarity with the more popular Open Source content management systems. Utilizing those unique insights, along with comprehensive Drupal and PHP development skills, the successful candidate can create Drupal instances that deliver the quality, stability and interactive experience that Aristotle is known for.
The skills necessary for consideration are as follow:
- 3+ years of website development utilizing the Drupal framework and API
- Proven knowledge of the Drupal API and ability to develop custom module
- 3+ years of object-oriented PHP development with a firm foundation in creating readable, maintainable code
- Comprehensive understanding of the LAMP environment. Able to manage local to production workflows that promote live-site stability.
Fulfilling the preceding requirement means having the following:
- Ability to utilize the Linux command line interface to move, copy, edit and delete files and scripts
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL database management
- Understanding of basic Apache configuration (virtualhosts, htaccess, etc.)
- Working knowledge of git or other version control tools
Some skills that are not required but highly desired are:
- Familiarity with using drush for website deployment and maintenance
- Capistrano and other enterprise deployment techniques and tools
- BASH scripting and the Linux cron system
