Aristotle Offers Fort Smith a New Vision Mar. 11, 2009

Lights. Camera ... err Webcam ... Action! The new Fort Smith, Arkansas webcams are live!
From a replica cannon and flagpole of the fort that gave the city its name to once-popular Native American crossings at the Arkansas and Poteau Rivers, visitors to FortSmith.org can now take in views from several of the city's most historic sites.
The four webcams feature live shots (updated every 30 seconds) of four iconic city hotspots including:
  • remnants of the original Fort Smith
  • a sidewalk marking the old dividing line between Indian and Arkansas Territory
  • a replica 6-pound cannon and flagpole flying the 15 star American flag
  • a shot of the Arkansas/Poteau Rivers where Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, Seminole and Cherokee Indian tribes once traveled
Aristotle's audio/video and programming teams made this all possible for the Fort Smith CVB.
