Marla Johnson Norris Receives Award from the Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame

LITTLE ROCK, AR — May 12, 2012 — The Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame honored Marla Johnson Norris, CEO of Aristotle, Inc., for her dedication and service to the Little Rock, Arkansas community in  the organization’s  1st Annual Multi-Cultural Community Service Award ceremony held May 10 at the Holiday Inn Presidential in downtown Little Rock.
The Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame seeks to broaden the public perception of African-American ethnic history and to increase the diversity and cultural tolerance in professional sports. The MESHOF recognized this year’s recipients for their instrumental efforts in helping African-Americans and other minorities achieve their goals.
In addition to recognizing Marla for her community contributions, the organization honored five other women during the ceremony. Additional recipients included Annie McDaniel Abrams, Donna Creer, Catherine Hughes, Donna Terrell and Angela Thomas.
