Little Rock Film Festival Announces Lineup, Site Launch May. 05, 2011

LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Little Rock Film Festival held a press conference Wednesday evening at the Clinton School, announcing this year’s lineup as well as introducing its new website redesign, courtesy of Aristotle Interactive. A number of key players in the LRFF spoke about the upcoming event.
Jack Lofton, Executive Director of the LRFF, thanked the large number of sponsors, including its most prestigious partner the Oxford American Magazine, which will sponsor the opening night’s party.
“This is one of the premier film events in the nation,” Warwick Sabin, publisher of the Oxford American, boasted of the festival. The Oxford American also annually awards the best Southern themed film with $10,000. “The Oxford American award is the most significant contribution [to the festival].” He believes the prize will cement the LRFF as a true competitor for southern film festivals.
Aristotle Interactive is proud to have been involved in the Little Rock Film Festival’s website redesign, and we look forward to the film festival’s success.
The Little Rock Film Festival runs from June 1-5, 2011, in the historic River Market District in Downtown Little Rock and in the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock. The festival will feature opening and closing parties, film panels, and VIP after-parties. To order your tickets online, visit the Little Rock Film Festival’s website.
