Atlantic City Restaurant Week’s 2013 Campaign Tantalizes Foodies

February 7, 2013 — LITTLE ROCK, AR — Aristotle’s marketing team worked with the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority to launch the 2013 AC Restaurant Week Campaign, "The Sinfully Delicious Dining Giveaway." The campaign, which began January 28 and will last through March 3, features five weekly online social media contests leading up to a grand prize giveaway of a two-night stay for two at Harrah’s Resort with culinary classes and dinner for two at Harrah’s gourmet restaurant.

With an in-house, full-service video department, Aristotle wrote, produced and filmed two online videos that promote the campaign with sinfully delicious humor. Putting the "sin" in cinema, Aristotle produced juicy confessional videos with mouth-watering twists. Watch the videos below to see Aristotle’s creative talents at work.

Weekly Social Contests

By visiting the campaign landing page,, visitors can easily enter to win the Harrah’s Resort grand prize giveaway. However, the online festivities don’t end there. Each week leading up to Restaurant Week, entrants can enter to win even more tempting prizes by participating in social media mini-contests aimed at bringing out the "sinfully delicious" diners in everyone.

For example, Week 1, dubbed the "Week of Gluttony," asked users to cram as many food-related words in a Twitter tweet and include the hashtag #GluttonyACRW.

Between now and March 3, these weekly mini-contests will launch will involve other social networks, including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

Weekly prizes, such as a Delonhi Espresso Maker or Cook’s Illustrated Cookbook, will be awarded based on merit (e.g., most creative Instagram photo) or chance (e.g., random drawing), depending on the contest. Each contest is a new and unique way to engage with Atlantic City’s Restaurant Week and learn more about what the festival has to offer.

Aristotle developed a campaign mini-site and rich-media advertising banners and ran a geo-targeted pay-per-click campaign to help the city promote the 2013 contest. The landing page and banners immediately offer a sense of the campaign — a bit of fun, a pinch of entertainment and a touch of something naughty.
