Baptist Health Launches Mobile Site in Time for the New Year
January 14, 2013 — LITTLE ROCK, AR — In December, Baptist Health launched the mobile version of their website to reach patients wherever they are- at home or on the go. With easy-to-use navigation and brilliantly fast load times, the Baptist Health Mobile site gives the major hospital the ability to provide healthcare information to more mobile-friendly users.
The Baptist Health Mobile site provides mobile access to key features, such as registering for health classes and seminars, making doctors’ appointments, searching for doctors and office locations and giving customers the ability to log into their My Baptist Health Notebook account, a unique online tool that stores important family health information.
The beautifully designed mobile site is not Baptist Health’s first time in the mobile sphere. In 2008, Aristotle created a text-based mobile site that was optimized for smartphones of the day, and in 2011 the My Baptist Health Notebook iPhone app launched and received several awards from prestigious competitions including the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards and the Communicator Awards.
"Aristotle has been helping us stay on the cutting edge of Web development for more than a decade," said Steve Asmussen, Website Coordinator for Baptist Health. "The re-development of our mobile site is in direct response to the continuing increase in traffic from smart devices. Our new mobile site ties directly into the enhanced functionality of our website. Customers will have a seamless experience navigating some of the more popular features of our main website."
