Aristotle Partners With Diamond State Networks to Bring High-Speed Fiber Connectivity to More Rural Arkansans

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Diamond State Networks, who will be providing the fiber backhaul for our Arkansas County tower—just the first of many projects we’ll be rolling out in the coming months. Customers can expect a stronger network and more capacity as we continue to expand with more fiber areas!

Diamond State Networks has long been a valued collaborator in Arkansas, and we’re thrilled to formalize our work together. Their team will be helping deliver state-of-the-art connectivity to Aristotle data centers, towers, and fiber huts in key areas across the state. Because Diamond State Networks is 100% owned by Arkansas electric cooperatives, their mission aligns closely with ours: bringing reliable, affordable high-speed internet to underserved communities.

This Arkansas County build marks our first project together, and it certainly won’t be the last. As Aristotle expands its service area, we look forward to partnering with Diamond State Networks on many future deployments.

Aristotle is proud to be the second-largest BEAD Program awardee in Arkansas. Through a $69 million investment, we will deliver broadband service to 9,418 unserved rural locations. The BEAD program aims for universal broadband coverage statewide, ensuring every Arkansan has access to stable, high-speed internet, no matter where they live. Once our build is complete, communities will benefit from gigabit-speed fiber broadband for homes, businesses, and vital community institutions.

As our CEO Elizabeth Bowles puts it:

“AUC is continually upgrading our network, and we are working with local partners in Arkansas to continually advance our services.”

Stay tuned—We'll have more project updates coming soon!

About Diamond State Networks

The backbone of Diamond State Networks is formed by the partnership of 14 Arkansas, member-owned electric cooperatives and/or their fiber network subsidiaries. This network provides our fiber network users with the backing of hundreds of years combined experience in providing Arkansans with vital utility services. The strength of their experience, combined with the progressive model of Diamond State Networks statewide coverage goals provides a solid platform for success.

Diamond State Networks provides a 100% fiber optic network that focuses on reliability, quality and sustainability.  DSN follows the seven core principles that guide cooperatives throughout the state and the cumulative resources we can offer will be considerable. With over 50,000 miles of fiber and nearly 600,000 potential customer locations, our network will have an immensely positive impact on the state’s economy moving forward by making Arkansas a place that people want to live and do business. DSN’s network is a state of the art, world-class network, that will carry much of the state’s shared information and data for years to come.
