Aristotle.net, Inc. Services
Originally founded in 1995, AUC’s parent company, Aristotle.Net, Inc., was one of the first companies to take on the new World Wide Web, providing web development, digital marketing, hosting, email and dial-up internet access services to a nationwide client base. Maintaining a start-up mentality throughout the years, the teams at Aristotle thrived by continually innovating and adapting. Aristotle.Net, Inc. partners with AUC to provide hosting and email services to AUC’s broadband customers.
Connecting the Underserved
AUC is committed to providing broadband to unserved and underserved rural communities and urban neighborhoods. Aristotle CEO, Elizabeth Bowles is currently the Chair of the FCC Broadband Deployment Committee that is working to develop policies that eliminate barriers to broadband deployment nationwide.
In 2018, AUC was awarded $12.2 million in Phase II Connect America Funds to provide broadband to rural areas in five states: Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, and Oklahoma. CAF area deployment will begin the third quarter of 2019.
AUC has a community-based partnership and promotions strategy that uses existing infrastructure (such as water towers) to lower development costs. AUC donates connections to essential community stakeholders such as fire departments, senior services centers, and police stations, which in turn expands access locally. Additionally, AUC consults with state and local leaders, agencies, and regional associations to deliver broadband to underserved citizens.
