Aristotle's Rick Hales Speaks at Rotary Club of Little Rock

On Feb 25 2025, the Rotary Club of Little Rock commemorated Black History Month with a panel discussing Arkansas native John H. Johnson, the founder of Ebony and Jet magazines. Special Projects Manager at Aristotle and former Arkansas City Mayor, Rick Hales, shared insights into Johnson's early life in rural Arkansas and the newly established John H. Johnson Memorial Park in Arkansas City.

"I was the one of the original members of a small group that decided to create a memorial park to the testament of John H. Johnson. I was determined to keep his story alive as a motivational tool for children and youth alike," said Rick Hales.
