Per the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the enrollment freeze for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) officially began on February 8, 2024, and unless Congress approves additional funding, funding for ACP is expected to last only through April 2024. (Read the announcement by the federal government here.)
This means that Aristotle customers enrolled in ACP will likely not receive the $30 discount on their bill after April of 2024.
Aristotle is actively looking for ways to minimize the negative impact on our customers.
We at Aristotle are deeply troubled by this announcement, knowing that the end of this historic program puts nearly 23 million households at risk of losing high-speed internet access — including a number of our own valued customers!
There is still a possibility that Congress will act to save the ACP program. If you feel that the ACP is important and should continue, please contact your U.S. Senators and Representatives to let them know. (We’ve included their contact information below.)
We will continue to keep you informed as we near the April 2024 cut-off.
